In May 2023, the GSUSA announced that it was retiring certain badges and debuting new ones. This year, your troop can earn the Girl Scout Junior Craft and Tinker badge.
What is the Girl Scout Junior Craft and Tinker Badge?
Replacing the Jeweler badge, the opportunities for your troop to do any kind of crafting and tinkering are endless. You can still make jewelry, but you can also do just about anything else that involves design and using tools for that craft.
